Location: San Francisco, California, United States

I grew up in a small town in Northern California where my 10th grade English teacher, Mrs. Lemos kept me after school every day and made me read Shakespear while holding my tongue to get me to stop stuttering. What an amazing gift that was. I was 15 when I discovered I could change anything I didn't like and I would never be stuck with anything that I didn't intend. It's a good thing that I learned that so early in life as I have been confronted with more challenges than most ten people ever thought of. The miracle is that each of the challenges have become a precious gift. Each and every day I look for the next person that will expose me to my next adventure.

Author's Challenge

What’s your biggest challenge as an author? Depending on where you are in the development of our book or career as an author, there are always challenges, but the severity simply changes along the way. Recognize why you write and what you want your legacy to be. Some write simply to express their opinions or perhaps to share their knowledge. Maybe your life story will have a great impact on others and just has to be told. No matter why you’ve chosen to write, you will be able to get your material out in the world and bask in the spotlight. Grant yourself the right to follow your dreams and stay true to yourself and your style.

Authors Wanted

Authors Unite! If you are an author, you know what I'm about to tell you! You spend your time committing your intellectual knowledge to paper; you try to find an agent and if you’re lucky, you can get one to promote you to publishers. Then you feel like you’ve won when the publisher offers you 35 to 50 cents for every book you sell, even though it’s completely up to you to get the radio interviews and book signings at the book stores.
So here’s what I propose, self publish your book and keep 10 – 15 dollars per book. At the end of the day, you’re the one who deserves it. I spend 20 years in the printing industry so I found it easy to print my first book in 2000. Now that my 3rd book has just been released, I’m more excited that ever about self-publishing. Let me know if you need any help, I’ve detailed every step you need to do and will offer you a free CD just for visiting my website. Let me help you keep the money you work so hard to earn with your books.
